Christian Women's Council
The purpose of The Christian Women Council is to inspire Holy Women to retain the values and principles of Holy living by precept and example. They should further provide opportunities for exchange of ideas based on moral and spiritual standards among women in the home, the church and community. As Holy Women, their knowledge, gifts, talents and experiences should be used to help others.
PURITY BAND
Purity Band is an auxiliary in the COGIC under the Women’s Department. It consists of young girls and boys, ages 13-19, who are commonly referred to as “Puritans.” However, we accept youth beginning at age 12. Our endeavor is to engage and educate our Youth in the Word of God;
YPWW
Young people yield yourselves to God in your youth. Prayer secures pardon, peace, purity, and paradise. Willing workers wanted to win souls for Christ. We must work while it is day.
SUNSHINE BAND
The Sunshine Band is an auxiliary of the Women Dept of The Church of God in Christ. It was organized by the founder Charles Harrison Mason in 1911. The motto of the Sunshine Band is Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good work and glorify your father which is in heaven. ” This group of children range from infant to twelve years of age.

Home and Foreign Mission – Missionary Marie Smith The Ash Street Home and Foreign Missions is dedicated to promoting evangelism both personal, congregational and supports our national church in meeting the needs throughout the world. The Church of God in Christ has long been involved in missions and evangelism ; and we know our Lord’s return is soon.
Praise Dancers
Facts- Respectful, Responsible, Dependable, Communication, Teamwork , Organized. As dancers, we have the ability to tell stories with our bodies. At times we can become silent storytellers. We have the power to convey the message of God and the ability to express worship through our dances to draw someone to Salvation which everyone must-have and peace. When the dancers bow it means to worship and bless the lord.

Prayer and Bible Band Missionary Nenner Johnson The Prayer and Bible Band Topics are an excellent source for those who desire to know more about God’s will for their lives through Bible study and practical application. The lessons include questions for the student’s consideration and discussion.
