VISION STATEMENT – PASTOR RON ENGRAM
WHAT IS VISION? When we think of vision, it is something you see that God gives to you. The vision for the work that God gives you is uniquely yours. Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish”.
Vision must impact and influence the body of Christ, our government, children, families, cities, states, countries, and the world. Vision is critical to growth that affects the ministry. Without it, we have no directions in our families, churches, or communities. Once you realize what God is birthing in you, what you see and feel must be communicated to others. If the vision is to be successful, it needs support. Without support the vision will not flourish.
There must be respect, cooperation, and faith to see the vision through. There must be assigned team leaders to help in the execution of the vision. For one could not achieve the task that others together can. We are better together. In order to get great results from vision you must have positive thinkers, people who do not see themselves as grasshoppers when measuring themselves back to back or face to face with the vision.
Remember, the success of the vision depends upon your willingness to work with the program. Vision comes from God to the leader to cast the vision but your gifts and willingness to run with the vision causes the goal of the vision to be met. We are blessed with many gifted people at Ash St. In addition, many are being used greatly. Together each of us can attain much. So we do not want to limit ourselves to just a few of us. It’s going to take all of us!
Our mission is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ wherever we go, to be a beacon of light in our community, win souls for the Kingdom and honor of God, administer prayer of deliverance for those bound by addictions, whose body needs healing,
Our future goal is to expand our fellowship hall to meet the needs for various church activities and community outreach in a greater way. There’s no ship like a FellowShip.
